About eID Livestock

eID Livestock is a data management, storage and reporting company designed for the commercial sheep, goat and cattle producer. Through data, eID Livestock helps farmers identify and invest resources in high performing animals. eID Livestock is passionate about educating commercial growers on the benefits of eID in commercial enterprises. eID Livestock is an independent business, and believes in integrity when working with clients.

In September 2022, federal and state agriculture ministers agreed to implement a nationally consistent individual electronic identification (eID) system for sheep and goats by 1 January 2025. As a result of this decision, in 2024 three independent sheep consultancy business’s, Sheepmatters, For Flocks Sake and Specialist Livestock Services came together to form eID Livestock, bringing a combined 26 years experience using eID with clients across Australia.

We have developed an introductory workshop that we are rolling out across NSW and Victoria, focusing on Sheep. You can learn more about our upcoming workshops here.

Our workshops are presented by Anthony Shepherd from Sheepmatters, Dr Tim Gole - For Flocks Sake and Richie Cartwright - Specialist Livestock Services.
